Because of the Griffon Cavalry Regiment, the Gray Dwarf Bandits had completely withdrawn from every island in the Kui Island Sea. Some headed south, beyond the Lost Sea, while others traveled north all the way to the islands in the Outer Sea off Murayaki Port.
In just over a year, Kui Island's Half-Elf population had rapidly grown to 130,000. The Half-Elves had built large numbers of forest wooden houses around the woodland clearings, forming a forest elf town covering nearly four square kilometers in the woods near Kui Island Dock.
Along the southern coastline of Kui Island, the Half-Elves had built a Great Sea Embankment stretching more than forty kilometers. Even at high tide, the embankment still stood five meters above the sea surface.
