Cleaning Up the Aftermath
When Roy stepped down from the Black Pearl with Woods and Kaka, the Half-Elf guards had already broken through on the north side of the harbor.
Large numbers of armored Half-Elf guards formed a silver shield wall across the battlefield. Behind them, Half-Elves wielding spears and heavy swords pierced through the bodies of Gray Dwarf warriors trying to charge into them.
As the Gray Dwarf warriors fell, the Half-Elf guards stepped over their corpses and advanced.
Waves of arrows descended in broad parabolas from the sky. Most of the Gray Dwarf warriors packed onto the dock were unarmored.
Even if they temporarily petrified their bodies, they could not withstand the unceasing rain of arrows for long.
Arrows lodged themselves in the Gray Dwarf warriors' bodies. Though not fatal, they still robbed them of a portion of their fighting strength...
When the Half-Elf guards saw Boss Roy personally step down from the Black Pearl and oversee the battle from the dock, their morale soared. They steadily compressed the area controlled by the Gray Dwarves, driving large numbers of them toward the southern end of the dock.
The Half-Elf guards were finally able to deploy their formation on the dock. At the very front stood heavily armored guards wielding Elf Long Swords and Iris Shields. Behind them were Sword Dancers with longswords, followed by spearmen carrying spears. Behind the spearmen stood a row of rangers armed with hunting bows, and behind those rangers were archers with longbows...
A group of human Priests from the Holy Knight Order stood at the very rear of the formation. They continuously cast Blessing Divine Magic on the Elf Warriors ahead and used Holy Light Art to treat the wounded, ensuring that even after being injured, they retained a certain degree of combat
