"Ah!!!"
Just as Lin Feng was pondering who the other woman in his memories was besides Natasha, Loki suddenly let out a miserable scream from the ground.
"Hm?"
He looked down and saw Loki, standing amid the snow and ice, spray out a dazzling splash of blood. The crimson blood blossomed across the ground like magnificent flowers.
Loki collapsed to the ground with an incredulous expression, lowering his head to look at the gash across his lower abdomen.
The long wound nearly ran through Loki's entire abdomen, blood gushing out in streams.
Lin Feng frowned and instantly dropped to the ground, catching Loki just as he was about to fall.
"What happened? These zombies..."
Lin Feng turned to look at the Zombie Horde. Some had mutated, but their strength was ordinary.
At most, they possessed Thor's physical attributes. With the Casket of Ancient Winters, Loki might have found them difficult to deal with, but he should not have ended up in such a state.
Moreover, Lin Feng could not see the person who had injured Loki.
"There... is someone... here..."
Loki spat out a mouthful of blood, the light in his eyes flickering unsteadily.
He looked as though he was about to die at any moment.
"Don't die yet."
Lin Feng placed a hand over the wound on Loki's abdomen, and a faint glow emerged from his palm.
As the light shone on Loki's lower abdomen, the wound that had nearly severed his waist healed rapidly within mere seconds.
The color also returned to Loki's pale face.
This was an Eternal's ability.
Lin Feng had never used it before, since no one around him had needed healing.
Tony's situation was different. That guy had been infected with a virus rather than wounded externally, so Lin Feng could not heal him with his ability. He could only find another solution through research.
The pain on Loki's face gradually eased. He stared at his body in shock and gingerly touched his lower abdomen.
It did not hurt!
What kind of ability was this? It could heal his injuries so quickly?
Loki had never seen such a miraculous ability. Even his mother did not possess healing magic this powerful.
"Your wound's healed?"
He straightened up and rubbed his abdomen, still feeling as though it was all a dream.
Just moments ago, Loki had nearly seen Valhalla.
Lin Feng had forcibly pulled him back from death.
"What happened just now? Did you see who injured you?"
Lin Feng released the hand supporting Loki. Without that support, Loki immediately tipped backward and fell onto the ground.
He pushed himself up with his hands. Recalling what had just happened, he looked around in terror.
Like a startled bird, Loki pressed close to Lin Feng, his head swiveling around like a lighthouse beam as he searched the surroundings, but he found nothing.
"I don't know. I only saw a flash of blade light, and then I was injured."
Thinking back to that moment, Loki could not understand it at all. That blade light had seemed to appear out of thin air.
"What was that? Could there be ghosts?"
Lin Feng recalled a doll he had seen on some website before, thinking that perhaps ghosts existed in this world as well.
If that slash had come from a ghost, that would be interesting.
"No! The sorcery I studied can sense the presence of ghosts. That definitely wasn't a ghost."
Loki spoke with certainty.
Though he did not practice the magic inherited from his mother very often, he had still mastered it completely.
In Asgard, he had been the most outstanding sorcerer.
If it had been a ghost, there was no way he would have failed to sense it.
"What you said makes me feel..."
Lin Feng's brows knitted tightly. Looking at the Zombie Horde beneath the ice wall, a blood-red glow lit up in his eyes.
Two immensely powerful rays burst from his eyes, their overwhelming energy tearing through the air before raining down upon the Zombie Horde below.
It was almost like clearing the screen as Lin Feng's Energy Rays swept across the dense Zombie Horde.
The scorching rays severed those monsters, and countless splashes of black blood spilled across the snow and ice, glaringly stark.
Lin Feng cleaned up the Zombie Horde while deep in thought.
He had the distinct feeling that he had seen someone like this before, after arriving in this world.
Ding!!!
Suddenly, a flash of inspiration struck Lin Feng's mind, reminding him of someone with a similar ability.
"Ava!!!"
That woman had been the only woman to punch Lin Feng head-on.
She was also the only woman Lin Feng had failed to detect. Her invisibility and Phasing ability had truly shocked him.
Lin Feng had searched for her afterward, but that girl's ability was far too bizarre.
Lin Feng's pulse sensing could not detect her at all. Even now, he still could not sense that woman's presence.
"Who is Ava?"
Hearing Lin Feng's startled shout, Loki asked curiously.
"A woman who can turn invisible. I can't detect her ability either."
Lin Feng shook his head. He had underestimated that woman. He had never expected that even at his current strength, he still could not sense Ava's presence.
Whoosh!
The blood-red Energy Rays abruptly withdrew. Lin Feng blinked, and tiny wisps of crimson energy flickered from his eyes.
A faint golden-red glow appeared in his eyes as he scanned the surroundings, yet he still saw nothing.
"Be careful. I don't know whether that woman is still here."
Lin Feng gave a warning, then surging blood-red mist coiled around both his hands.
Although the Zombie Horde below had been sliced in half by Lin Feng's Energy Rays, the creatures altered by the Blacklight Virus rapidly recovered within seconds.
Those whose bodies lacked enough energy to regenerate opened their fang-filled mouths and tore apart the surrounding chunks of corpses, continuously replenishing their energy before using it to rapidly restore their bodies.
"Troublesome."
This was the second time Lin Feng had dealt with Blacklight monsters. The first had been an Evolver he had deliberately cultivated.
Ellie, whose body Lin Feng had implanted with the Wolf Pack and Bio-Bomb skills, was a special Evolver personally created by Lin Feng using the Blacklight Virus released by Hydra.
He had set things up in advance back then, so dealing with her had been easy.
But these monsters recovered at a speed beyond imagination.
Lin Feng had tried to control those monsters, but there had been no response at all.
He could sense that something within their bodies seemed to be blocking Lin Feng's control.
Lin Feng suddenly plunged both hands into the ice wall beneath his feet. Two surging crimson tides easily pierced through the incomparably hard ice.
Then, the tentacles extending from Lin Feng's hands surged toward the monsters like mad giant pythons.
Puff! Puff! Puff!!!
After spreading beneath the monsters, those tentacles suddenly burst upward, transforming into thick black spikes that pierced through them.
In an instant, skewer after skewer of flesh appeared before Loki.
He stood there with his mouth hanging open, staring blankly at the forest of bloody corpses before him. That incomparably gruesome sight was deeply engraved in Loki's mind, impossible to erase.
Lin Feng's gaze turned cold. At that moment, he seemed less like a person and more like an emotionless virus.
He shook his shoulders and withdrew the tentacles he had erupted from his body.
The corpses impaled on the tentacles that had transformed into spikes rapidly shrank within seconds, absorbed by Lin Feng before turning into crimson tides that returned to him.
Feeling that immense energy flood into his body, Lin Feng could not stop the blood-red light in his eyes from erupting. He raised his head, and a dazzling pillar of blood shot into the sky.
