Hulk turned and threw a punch, but the fully alert Blonsky easily dodged it.

Several more punches followed. Hulk's sledgehammer-sized fists howled through the air, but Blonsky evaded every one of them, as if he could predict them in advance.

Blonsky savored his newfound agility as he casually dodged Hulk's punches. Finally, he leaped several steps back, putting distance between them.

"Is that all you've got?"

Seeing Hulk's frustrated expression after failing to hit him, Blonsky became even more arrogant and disdainful. He slowly approached Hulk and met his gaze.

Blonsky looked mockingly at Hulk. Though Hulk was much larger than him, he did not care in the slightest.

After their brief exchange, Blonsky felt that Hulk was nothing special.

"Blonsky! Fall back!"

Ross's voice came through Blonsky's earpiece, and he impatiently removed it.

Hearing Blonsky's mocking tone and seeing his expression, Hulk angrily let out a heavy breath before suddenly lifting his foot and kicking Blonsky.

Bang!!!

Blonsky flew more than ten meters as if he had been hit by a train, slammed into the trunk of a large tree, and went still.

"Helicopter! Attack!"

Seeing that Blonsky was no longer moving, Ross frowned and hurriedly made the next arrangements.

Less than half a minute after he spoke, a helicopter roared through the rainy night, its two blinding lights sweeping over the area.

Hulk raised an arm to shield his eyes, easing the glare slightly.

When he saw what was flying overhead, a series of beeps began to sound.

A bright laser dot moved back and forth over his body. When the beeping stopped, a rocket came roaring toward him.

Hulk narrowed his eyes at the incoming object. As the rocket reached him, his pupils suddenly contracted, but it was too late to dodge.

Boom!!!

The explosion engulfed an area several meters wide in flames. Hulk staggered out of the fire, somewhat dazed as he patted at his body.

When he came to his senses, he threw back his head and roared furiously at the helicopter.

Then he ran to the armored vehicle he had smashed earlier, grabbed its wreckage, and hurled it at the helicopter in the night sky.

Bang!!

An explosion flashed across the night sky. The helicopter instantly became a ball of fire and spiraled down toward Hulk.

Watching the helicopter fly toward him, Hulk snorted disdainfully, then threw a punch and smashed it to pieces.

The flames scattered into countless fragments across the ground. Hulk stood amid the wreckage like a god of war.

"Bruce!"

Betty broke free from the soldiers beside her and hurried toward Hulk.

Hearing her voice, Hulk thought someone was attacking him again. He turned and glared furiously at the approaching figure.

But he saw Betty, her face streaked with tears as she looked at him with concern.

Hulk froze, and his eyes softened considerably.

He stared blankly at Betty for a moment before carefully extending a hand.

Seeing this, Betty reached out as well. She gently placed her hand on Hulk's huge palm, then wrapped both arms around his hand.

Hulk's gaze became even gentler and calmer, but there was still no sign of him changing back.

He carefully picked Betty up, then bent his legs and leaped.

His massive three- to four-meter body shot up from the ground like a cannonball and vanished into the pouring night rain.

"Let's go to Brooklyn."

Lin Feng watched Hulk disappear into the night, feeling slightly excited.

Then his gaze fell on Blonsky, who had been kicked half to death by Hulk. This was his target.

"Is that really a human? He's even stronger than zombies. Even the Zombie King probably wouldn't be his match."

Uncle Yu had truly had his eyes opened tonight. He stared incredulously in the direction where Hulk had vanished, still unable to believe what he had seen.

If he had not turned around and seen the ravaged street, Uncle Yu would have thought he was dreaming.

"It was caused by scientific experiments. Mutated superhumans like this can't be explained by common sense. There will be many more like them in the future."

Hulk's birth had mainly been the result of Gamma Rays, along with that vial containing Captain America's serum. Both were incredibly fantastical black technologies, and together they had naturally created a monster like Hulk.

Lin Feng quietly withdrew with Uncle Yu. Meanwhile, Ross looked over the devastated scene, and it felt as though half the money in his wallet had vanished.

All of his equipment had been purchased from Stark's company, and none of it had been cheap. Yet not a single piece had proved useful.

Ross had still underestimated Hulk's strength. He had not expected Hulk to be this powerful.

He stared darkly in the direction Hulk had left for a long while without saying a word.

Several days later, Brooklyn.

After arriving here, Lin Feng chatted warmly with several foreigners.

Uncle Yu stood nearby holding a foreign newspaper while an elderly Black man who had learned a little Chinese did his best to communicate with him.

"Hey, everyone, my friend and I have something to do. It was great meeting you tonight."

Just as Lin Feng was enjoying the conversation, Blonsky's figure suddenly appeared within his Pulse Vision. He quickly said goodbye to the foreigners.

"Uncle Yu, let's go."

He walked over to Uncle Yu, said that, and turned to leave.

"Xiao Lin, I want to talk with him a little longer. He's the first friend I've made here."

Lin Feng had not expected Uncle Yu to be moved by the foreigners' warmth. Despite his poor impression of foreigners, he had actually made a friend.

His gaze fell on the elderly Black man across from Uncle Yu. The man warmly greeted Lin Feng, smiling happily.

Lin Feng returned the smile and said, "Uncle Yu, be careful later."

Uncle Yu silently nodded. He understood what Lin Feng meant.

That was also why he did not want to go with Lin Feng, because he wanted to protect these people.

Lin Feng would most likely only care about accomplishing his own goal and would probably not concern himself with these people, so Uncle Yu chose to stay behind.

Blonsky, meanwhile, remained on the second floor, forcing Dr. Blue Stern to inject him with Hulk's serum and expose him to Gamma Rays.

The muffled roars coming from the second floor attracted the already curious people on the street.

Ignoring the military's attempts to stop them, they all raised their phones and photographed the second floor.

Suddenly, a yellowish-white figure leaped out from the second floor, landed heavily on the ground, and roared at the sky.

Lin Feng looked at the yellow monster covered in spikes and completely naked, an excited smile appearing on his lips.

Everyone fleeing through Brooklyn saw the scene and thought their eyes were playing tricks on them.

Even General Ross, several hundred meters away in the air, thought he was dreaming as he watched the footage transmitted by his soldiers.

Ross frowned, his mouth slightly open as he stared at Lin Feng in the footage.

Then he glanced back at Bruce, who had returned to normal, and asked, "How many people did you perform experiments like this on?"

"I didn't do this. I don't know that person at all. That monster is your man. It has nothing to do with me!!"

His right hand instantly transformed into a spiked warhammer, and with one punch, he smashed the car apart.
