After the first round of screening, only half the children remained in the arena. Quite a few of them were gritting their teeth and holding on, trembling all over as though a gust of wind could knock them down.
Only a handful were in a condition comparable to the better-performing Minato. Shimura Kizaru, on whom Danzo had placed high hopes, was among them. Though his face was somewhat pale, his will had not been greatly affected by the Nine-Tailed Chakra.
