Uchiha Gin and Tobirama Senju investigated Hashirama Senju’s disappearance and discovered that Jigen had captured him. As attacks spread across the Great Nations, Gin traveled to Rōran to treat Shamon and found evidence that Hashirama’s lookalike was behind the attack.

Uchiha Madara and Tobirama Senju fought Jigen’s Clones as their allies joined the battle, but Tobirama died and Madara vanished. Black Zetsu rescued the unconscious Madara and hid him in an underground base, hoping his Rinnegan could help oppose Isshiki.
