• Uchiha Gin trained Hiashi and Hizashi in hidden weapons and the Gentle Fist, then helped Jiraiya and his companions prepare for their overseas missions and Sage Mode training.
• Fugaku gathered Minato and the Ino-Shika-Cho Trio into his circle, and Minato stood up to bullies before befriending Shibi and beginning to train with Gin’s dummy.
• Hiruzen appointed Maruboshi Kosuke as Team 7’s leader, and Kosuke tested Fugaku, Nawaki, and Mikoto before Gin shared an illusion technique with him.
• Nonō told Gin she had become a Chunin, and Mito revealed that Ōnoki had offered the Hozuki Clan help against Kukachiyuu Tatsumaki in exchange for a maritime trade route.

Uchiha Gin’s trip to the Rain Country brought him into contact with Nagato, Tsunade, and Hakurei Reimu before he confronted Jigen and his Clones on Rampage Island. Gin badly wounded Jigen, but Jigen healed himself and unleashed his Clone legion as allies rushed to the island.

• Hatake Sakumo joined the red-haired young man’s Puppet Research Institute, while Gin and his puppets prepared to travel to the Rain Country.
• Masahiko and Myoko took infant Nagato to Tsunade, who diagnosed him with overnutrition from excessive Life Energy but could not treat him before Gin arrived.
• Gin met Tsunade and learned from her that Jiraiya had found battle traces near a volcanic eruption, then pursued the troubled Nagato’s family to a shrine.
• Reimu failed to remove the force affecting Nagato, but Gin found Jigen’s aura in the baby’s palm and sealed it beneath twenty-seven Four Symbols Seals.
• Tsunade became caught up in a battle between Madara and the Clones, while Number Four repeatedly protected her and awakened greater power to fight Madara.
• Gin flew to Rampage Island, where Number Four fell after fighting Madara, Jigen took control of his body, and Gin intercepted Jigen’s attack on Izuna.
• Jigen introduced himself as Isshiki and invited Gin to join him, but Gin fought back, evaded Jigen’s techniques, and punched through his chest.

Uchiha Gin and his allies defeated Isshiki and uncovered that several of the Tailed Beast Knights held fragments of Hashirama Senju’s soul. After Gin’s group left the Rain Country, Minato began training in the Flying Thunder God Technique, and Senju Hi Shin revived Tobirama Senju, who returned to Konoha to confront its leaders.

• Uchiha Hikari, Uchiha Madara, Uchiha Izuna, Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru fought Jigen and his Clone army, while Uchiha Gin helped Madara control the power awakened by his Hashirama Cells.
• Jigen revealed his Ōtsutsuki form as Isshiki and overwhelmed Uchiha Hikari and her allies, but Uchiha Gin arrived and pierced him with his Mutated Byakugan.
• Uchiha Gin and his allies discovered that 001, 009, and Number Four carried fragments of Hashirama Senju’s soul, and Reimu helped Gin preserve their fragile souls.
