Tierra walked along, pulling out his wand and searching through the disorderly books piled on the floor.
"Potent Potions," "Dark History," "Death and Life Alchemy," "Plague," "Occlumency: How to Disguise Your Mind"...
Tierra waved his wand and packed all these books into a canvas bag hanging from his waist.
Tierra had borrowed this canvas bag from Oliver Wood, the Gryffindor Quidditch captain. It had been enchanted with an Undetectable Extension Charm. Originally, every team's potion maker would be equipped with one, and most made their own. But Tierra had yet to learn the Undetectable Extension Charm, so he could only use Wood's.
It had to be said that Wood was not only good at Quidditch, but also quite skilled at making magical items. Tierra had already stuffed thirty or forty books into this Undetectable Extension Charm bag, yet there was still plenty of room inside.
Like a greedy scavenger, Tierra shoved any book that looked like it might be forbidden into the bag.
But there were simply too many books. In the end, Tierra had no choice but to dump out every book he had packed and pile them in a particular corner, where two enormous bronze pig statues stood.
Tierra picked through the heap of forbidden books he had gathered and took only a dozen or so books that he was certain he could use right now.
"Ancient Dark Magic Ritual Studies," "Death and Life Alchemy," "Plague," "Dark Magical Item Creation Detailed Explanation"...
Naturally, "Occlumency: How to Disguise Your Mind" was among them as well.
This was the book Tierra needed most at present. Facing a master of Legilimency like Voldemort, even if it was only one of his Horcruxes, made Tierra feel as though he were treading on thin ice.
After putting away the books, Tierra continued onward.
