"Checkmate!" Dumbledore picked up a queen and placed it beside Tierra's king.
"Heh." Though Tierra had lost, he was not annoyed. Instead, he smiled happily, knocked over his king, and conceded cleanly.
"Another game?" Tierra tapped the board, and all the destroyed pieces automatically restored themselves and returned to their positions.
"Forget it, no more." Dumbledore leaned lightly against the backrest. "Ten games, ten wins. It's gotten rather boring."
"Mr. Dumbledore's chess skills are superb." Tierra lifted the black tea beside the board, took a small sip, and praised him with a smile.
"You let me win on purpose." Dumbledore shook his head helplessly. "You never used time reversal even once."
"Playing chess with you is for entertainment, relaxation, and passing the time, not for winning," Tierra said calmly. "If I wanted to win, I could go downstairs and find Shabek Sobek, the Wizard's Chess champion, to use time reversal. That would be more rewarding than beating an old headmaster who has spent so long secluded in his castle."
After hearing Tierra's words, Dumbledore fell silent for a long while, studying him strangely.
"It's strange," Dumbledore sighed. "Your face is so young, but your soul is so mature."
"Perhaps there really is a Gellert Grindelwald hidden in here." Tierra jokingly pointed at his own head.
"Oh, then it isn't quite that mature," Dumbledore said with a smile.
After that, Dumbledore and Tierra exchanged smiles and, with perfect understanding, changed the subject.
"What's with those children cosplaying Gellert?" Dumbledore asked after taking another sip of tea.
"You noticed them?" Tierra asked in return.
"How could I not?" Dumbledore said with a smile. "They were one step away from printing the symbol of the Deathly Hallows on their clothes."
"What do you think of them?" Dumbledore continued. "I'd like to hear it."
