New Roommate

The moment she arrived outside Dorm 1010, Ning Weiyang heard voices talking inside.

Sister Yanzi?

That sounded so familiar.

Knock, knock, knock.

Teacher Shen stepped forward and knocked on the door.

A moment later, a girl with long black hair and a headband opened it.

"Teacher Shen."

Teacher Shen nodded and walked inside.

Ning Weiyang followed behind her.

When the girl who had opened the door saw Ning Weiyang, she could not help staring at her for quite a while.

The dormitories on the tenth floor were all four-person rooms, but most students commuted, so the rooms were usually not full.

The dorm conditions here were exceptionally good. The furnishings were new, and the rooms were spacious. Even as four-person rooms, there was plenty of empty space.

"Teacher Shen."

A girl with a teal-green ponytail sat on one of the beds. When she saw Teacher Shen, she stood as well.

Teacher Shen nodded and said, "Yanzi, this is a newly enrolled student. The Education Committee asked me to arrange for her to stay in your dorm. You're the dorm leader, so I'll leave her with you for now. If anything comes up later, come directly to me. Also, she isn't familiar with the academy yet. If you and Lingling have time, take her around and help her get acquainted with the place."

"Alright, Teacher Shen. Don't worry, leave it to me." Dugu Yan answered with a smile.

Teacher Shen was reassured as well. Before leaving, she patted Ning Weiyang on the shoulder and told her not to be too nervous.

It was only when Ning Weiyang saw Dugu Yan that she remembered these were two members of the Royal Fight Team.

After Teacher Shen left, Dugu Yan stepped forward, took Ning Weiyang's hand, and brought her over to sit on her bed.

"My name is Dugu Yan. I'm the dorm leader here. What's your name? You look so young. Did you just awaken your martial soul?"

Dugu Yan asked softly, as though afraid of startling Ning Weiyang.

Ye Lingling had originally planned to go out to eat with her, but now there was an unexpected addition. She shook her head and said, "I'll eat at the cafeteria."
