Expulsion from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect

Ning Weiyang is the daughter of Ning Fanli, whose martial soul is the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, and Song Yu, whose martial soul was the Three-Bladed Dagger. Her mother died when Weiyang was young. Because Weiyang awakened a Peony Flower instead of either parental martial soul and initially possessed only Innate Soul Power Level Three, sect elders questioned her parentage and expelled her as a child. 12 59

Her Peony Flower was not evidence of questionable parentage: Song Yu had secured the Goddess of Flowers Inheritance for her daughter before dying in Goddess of Flowers Valley. The inheritance altered what would likely have been a Three-Bladed Dagger martial soul into the Peony Flower. 74 75

Admission to Heaven Dou Royal Academy

With no sect willing to accept a Level Three plant-type Soul Master, Ning Weiyang pleaded with Crown Prince Xue Qinghe after he rescued her from soldiers. She treated his intervention as her sole opportunity to change her fate and offered to serve him in exchange for a way to live. 3

Flower Sect
