Ning Weiyang inherited the Peony Goddess’s power, evolved her martial soul, and won approval to study at Spirit Hall Academy, but her new teacher soon clashed with her.

• The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect elders expelled Ning Weiyang after she awakened a Peony Flower martial soul, and Xue Qinghe found her wandering Heaven Dou City and brought her to Heaven Dou Royal Academy.
• Meng Shenji enrolled Ning Weiyang in a special class and placed her in the dormitory with Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling, who welcomed and protected her when Goreya blamed her for his spilled food.

• Ning Weiyang confronted Goreya and his lackeys on the bridge, defeated them with her martial soul, and warned Goreya to stop spreading rumors.

• Chen Yulin left Ning Weiyang and the other students with Hua Dai, who assigned Ning Weiyang to an upper-grade dormitory at Spirit Hall Academy.
• Ning Weiyang met Song Xiuyan, who recognized her as Song Yu’s daughter and began telling her about her mother.
• Ning Weiyang befriended Xie Yue and Hu Liena, who learned of her expulsion from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and helped her settle into school.
