The interior of the weaving workshop was far more spacious and brightly lit than it looked from outside. Fabrics in every gorgeous shade hung like waterfalls, while exquisite garments and accessories were displayed on specially made racks, each one a masterpiece of craftsmanship.
Several uniformed young women worked quietly. When they saw you enter, they merely nodded politely.
"Hey! Where's the person in charge here?"
Cipher's voice sounded rather abrupt in the quiet workshop.
A young woman approached with light steps and asked softly, "What can I do for you two young guests?"
"We're here to sell something—the best stuff! Bring out your boss!"
Cipher lifted her chin, trying her best to look more imposing.
The young woman was not intimidated by her attitude. "Please wait." She turned and headed toward the inner room.
After a while, faint footsteps could be heard.
A young woman dressed in elegant yet understated attire slowly emerged from the inner room.
She had smooth pale-gold hair, part of it gathered with an exquisite hair ornament. Her green eyes were like the purest emeralds, calm and deep.
Her bearing was much like the workshop itself: splendid, serene, and carrying an air of authority.
"What brings you two young guests here?" Her voice was as gentle as her demeanor, though it carried a certain distance.
She studied you both, her gaze passing over the bundle you had brought before returning to Cipher. Finally, it lingered on you for a moment. You felt that gaze held a little more warmth than it had when looking at Cipher.
"You're the owner of this workshop?" Cipher raised her head to look at the woman before her. "We have some good stuff to sell. If you know quality, give us a fair price!"
