Background / History

Transmigration and the Villain Simulator

Jiang Mo transmigrated into the Underworld of Belobog as a starving orphan. After being harassed by Huzi and his gang, he awakened the Villain Simulator, used Rampage to overpower them, and began using simulations to obtain power and rewards. 1 2

His earliest documented simulation placed him in the body of the child Sunday. Equipped with Silver Tongue, Genius on the Left, and Trait Devour, he manipulated servants while protecting Sunday’s younger sister, Robin. The simulation eventually escalated to Jiang Mo becoming the Star God “Unification.” 2 8

Rise in Belobog’s Underworld

Jiang Mo refused to depend on others or remain in the orphanage, preferring to survive through his own efforts even when other children viewed him as dependable. 13

He befriended Bronya while she lived in the Underworld, buying her a costly Soda Ice Mountain and promising that they would one day leave the place together. He deliberately cultivated that connection as a route to the Upper District. 14 15 18

After discovering Natasha’s illegal dealings in Fragmentum relics, Jiang Mo leveraged the secret to force her cooperation. He then used Natasha and Wildfire as the foundation of a larger plan to secure his position in the Underworld. 16 18

Under his direction, Wildfire defeated rival forces, seized key mining areas, introduced task groups and a points-based reward system, and became the Underworld’s dominant organization. By age twelve, Jiang Mo secretly controlled Wildfire’s growing network. 39

Upper District Influence

Jiang Mo arranged a nominal adoption through Natasha’s parents to obtain legal access to Belobog’s Upper District. Before leaving the Underworld, he left Seele enough Winter City Coins to support herself for a year and promised to return for her. 42

In the Upper District, he built a network through Belobog Academy and deepened his relationship with Bronya. He also gained Cocolia’s trust by relieving her headaches while secretly absorbing the Stellar Nucleus’s corruptive black energy. 49 50 118

He later convinced Cocolia to remove restrictions between the Upper and Underworld districts, fulfilling his promise to give Seele a better life in the Upper District. 118

Guiji’s Attack and Ascension

When the Lord of Ruin Guiji attacked Belobog, Jiang Mo revealed combat power far beyond what the Astral Express Crew and Silvermane Guards expected. He cut through glaciers and hordes of Voidrangers with a single sword strike, then helped reverse the Antimatter Legion’s offensive. 131 133

Guiji’s Divinity Mask allowed him to assume the full roles of figures such as Jing Yuan, Feixiao, and Emperor Rupert. Jiang Mo copied the ability through Perfect Replication, fought back using the mask himself, and ultimately killed Guiji. 137 138 140 143

Guiji’s death made Jiang Mo an Envoy of The Elation rather than a Lord of Ruin. Belobog celebrated him as its savior and bestowed the title “Spear of Belobog.” 142 144

Astral Express

After Belobog’s liberation, Jiang Mo chose to board the Astral Express as a Trailblazer. He had concealed his strength and long-term ambitions from the crew, intending to use future journeys to access more Stellar Nuclei rather than immediately exploit Stelle’s. 123 143 144

As a Trailblazer, he joins Stelle, March 7th, Dan Heng, Himeko, Welt, and Pom-Pom. Kafka later redirects the Express toward the Xianzhou Luofu, briefly noting that Jiang Mo resembles someone she likes. 146 210 211

Simulated Lives

Several of Jiang Mo’s simulations produce memories that resonate with their female participants in reality. In an Omphalos simulation, he forms bonds with Cipher, Aglaya, Castorice, Hyacine, and others before becoming the Finality Aeon “Echo” and accepting eternal separation to preserve their happiness. 116 117

In another simulation, Jiang Mo is born as a Foxian on the Fanghu merchant Starcruiser alongside his twin sister Jiang Li. He becomes a skilled swordsman and battlefield tactician, but fails to save Jiang Li when the Emperor Bow destroys Fanghu. 147 152 155

After being revived with amnesia by the Stellaron Hunters in that simulated life, he joins Kafka, Firefly, Silver Wolf, and Blade. Learning that Jiang Li and Ningli died in the war against the Buli Ren drives him toward revenge against the Buli Ren and the Emperor Bow. 157 170 171 174

Appearance

Jiang Mo is a black-haired youth repeatedly described as exceptionally handsome, with an unusually high Charm attribute. His gentle smile and polished appearance often make others underestimate the calculating force behind his actions. 46 118 122

  • Black hair in his Belobog life. 122 210
  • Possesses an exceptionally attractive, almost captivating appearance. 46
  • Recorded Charm rises from 16 at age eight to 100 after becoming an Elation Envoy. 18 143
  • Commonly fights with a black sword. 131 137
  • Assumes radically different forms while using Divinity Mask. 138 143

Personality

Jiang Mo is fiercely self-reliant. He dislikes being treated as someone to be chosen, sheltered, or depended upon, and consistently seeks control over his own circumstances. 13 18

He is calculating and patient, preferring systems of leverage over direct confrontation when possible. He blackmails Natasha, turns Wildfire into an organized power base, gains Cocolia’s dependence, and withholds his true abilities until revealing them benefits his plans. 16 39 50 70

Despite his manipulation, Jiang Mo is capable of sincere protectiveness. He looks after Bronya and Seele in Belobog, chooses not to seize Stelle’s exposed Stellar Nucleus after she embraces him, and faces Guiji directly rather than abandon his companions. 42 137 143

His simulated Foxian life reveals a harsher side under grief: after learning of Jiang Li’s death, he becomes withdrawn, emotionally suppressed, and determined to destroy the Buli Ren and Emperor Bow. 170 171 174

  • Can be used four times per day. 143
  • Grants most of the selected being’s power, memories, and existence for a limited time. 143

  • Destruction (Gold) places him at the threshold of becoming a Lord of Ruin. 143
  • He can channel Destruction into his black sword with enough force that the aftershock would endanger nearby mortals. 138
  • He intends to pursue dual-Envoy status by upgrading Destruction with another Stellar Nucleus. 143

Mystic Eyes of Death Perception

A red Trait redeemed after Jiang Mo’s Foxian simulation. It allows him to perceive the “death” of things and erase targets at a conceptual level. 209

  • Can directly erase enemies by identifying their death. 209
  • Its simulated potential extends to killing Aeons. 209
  • Permanently loaded into Jiang Mo’s template. 209
