"Is this... a lion?" Huang Youxiang looked at the huge lion sprawled atop Chu Danqing's head. It seemed rather cat-like.

He had seen lions before. They were animals the Westerners used for performances.

"Alter their memories. Roughly speaking, make the dead man alive, and make it so we were all having a pleasant meal together." Chu Danqing pointed at the people who had carried the boxes over.

The Cat Goddess seemed to understand only half of it, then gave a meow to indicate that it would be no problem, though there might be some side effects.

"Keep the side effects somewhere inconspicuous," Chu Danqing said.

Altering their memories was to ensure the next part of the plan went more smoothly.

"Meow." The Cat Goddess answered, indicating that it was no problem, then used divine power to brutally alter their memories.

Primal Gods were savage beings by nature. Did anyone really think she was some benevolent old soul?

The alteration was completed in an instant, and the few of them fainted at once.
