Happy May Day

A good brother of mine in real life was getting married, and today I had to help with reception duties—driving people around and such—so I simply had no time to write. He had been a close friend of mine for over a decade, and Jing Yan's character was based on him, so I really couldn't turn him down. I needed to take the day off.

Fortunately, this was the only event I had to handle over the May Day holiday. I could write in peace throughout May, and I would try to write more that month to make up for the missed updates.
