Springy lunged at Jiang Hao. He was confident he could strangle this guy to death. Like a fawn beneath a python, Jiang Hao would be suffocated by his coils. He wanted him to experience the taste of death drawing near.
Springy flew into the air.
Suddenly,
a huge fishing net fell from above, descending over Springy.
Whoosh!
The enormous net instantly covered Springy. His leaping body slammed to the ground, then, carried by his momentum, rolled a long way forward before stopping in front of Jiang Hao and the other freshmen.
Springy was now thoroughly tangled in the fishing net. Panicked, he tried to break free, but he was too hopelessly entwined with it. The more he struggled, the tighter the net trapped him. In the end, the net and his body twisted together, and Springy had trapped himself to death.
"Mmmpf, mmmpf! Let me go! Fatty Fei, come help me untangle this!" Springy's mouth was blocked by his own butt, so his words came out muffled.
Seeing Springy's ridiculous appearance, the freshmen and surrounding onlookers all burst into laughter. Some even felt a sense of satisfaction.
Just then, Jiang Hao received another system notification.
"Ding~~ Congratulations, Collector. You have defeated a Superpower User and collected one ability from the defeated Superpower User: 'Rubber Man.' Please keep up the good work."
The mission value instantly became 2/20.
Jiang Hao was overjoyed and silently cheered.
Defeating an enemy let him obtain one of their superpowers. That meant this mission would not be difficult to complete. There were so many students at Superhuman School; every one of them could become his points.
"Who is that guy?" one of the surrounding students asked curiously.
"No idea. He should be a freshman this year. He looks pretty impressive, making both Speedy and Springy suffer."
