After leaving the robot factory and saying goodbye to Steve, the two of them went up to the seventy-first floor. When the elevator opened, they passed through a long corridor and several security checkpoints, and Jiang Hao found himself entering another world.
Gwen walked ahead and introduced the place. "This is the laboratory zone. Floors seventy-one through ninety are all laboratories. The research here covers electromagnetics, Artificial Intelligence, machinery, biotechnology, and more than a dozen other major fields, with over a hundred laboratories in total."
As they spoke, they entered a large laboratory. More than a dozen people in white coats were conducting experiments Jiang Hao could not understand. When Electromagnetic Girl came in, they merely nodded before continuing with their work.
It was already eleven at night, yet these people were still running experiments. They really were a bunch of workaholics.
Electromagnetic Girl brought Jiang Hao before a white-haired old man. "Professor Dane, this is Jon. I'll arrange for him to live and study in the experimental zone from now on, so I specifically brought him here to say hello."
The old man nodded at Electromagnetic Girl, glanced at Jiang Hao, and casually said, "Get him a pass later. Study whatever you want on your own. Ask if you have questions. No one will manage you. All right, I'm busy."
