Seeing Jiang Hao take down one of the robbers, Jerry cheered. "Yeah! Nice shot, Jon!"
With one robber dead, none of the others dared to stick their heads out. They continued speeding away, knocking over countless pedestrians and cars along the way, causing enormous chaos and panic in downtown Los Angeles.
Just then, a voice shouted over the radio, "Barriers have been set up at the Feld district intersection. All units, coordinate to force the robbers to stop."
When they reached the next intersection, four police cars were lined up ahead, blocking the road completely. There were no side streets on either side. More than a dozen officers hid behind the vehicles with their guns raised, ready to fire at any moment—and they were all carrying rifles.
Enemies blocked the front while pursuers closed in from behind. The robbers had nowhere left to run.
The robber leader took one look and roared at the driver, "Step on it! Ram through them!"
"Vroom!"
The robbers' car roared as it accelerated straight toward the police cars blocking the road.
"Fire!"
The officers opened fire wildly at the approaching Lincoln. Automatic rifles rattled as sparks burst across the Lincoln's body, but it was bulletproof. The bullets could not damage it at all.
The officers watched in horror as the robbers' Lincoln charged toward them like a mad beast. They dove aside to avoid it. With a thunderous crash, the Lincoln sent one police car flying and knocked another crooked, forcing open a path.
Vroom, vroom, vroom!
The robbers' car fled wildly once more.
Jiang Hao's two police cars pursued relentlessly, while the two police cars that had not been hit quickly caught up as well. Four police cars raced after them. The robbers rolled down their windows and repeatedly stuck their guns out
