Jiang Hao led a squad of thirteen or fourteen people down into the sewers, searching their way forward. After walking several hundred meters, his heart suddenly tightened. He shone his flashlight up at the pipes ahead and saw several dark green monsters hanging from above.
The others saw the monsters as well and immediately cried out in fright. Jiang Hao shouted, "Monsters! Open fire!"
"Rat-a-tat! Bang! Bang!"
Gunfire instantly erupted through the sewers.
The Xenomorphs leaped down from the ceiling and charged at Jiang Hao's group. Jiang Hao held a Barrett large-caliber sniper rifle in his hands because he knew smaller bullets were useless against monsters like Xenomorphs.
"Roarrr~!"
The Xenomorphs roared as they charged. Jiang Hao picked one out, raised his gun, and fired a snap shot. "Bang!" With a thunderous blast, one Xenomorph's head burst open, spraying white fluid from its massive skull.
"Bang! Bang!"
The others opened fire as well. Their bullets formed a dense barrage, knocking the two leading Xenomorphs back and forth until they could not advance.
"Bang!"
Jiang Hao fired again, hitting another Xenomorph in the head and killing it.
The Xenomorph monsters lost their nerve and fled with howls, moving incredibly fast. By the time Jiang Hao and the others chased after them, they had vanished without a trace.
The others were still shaken, but Jiang Hao was not nearly as nervous. He walked over to the Xenomorph corpses, looked at the ugly creatures, and frowned. "They've grown quite a bit larger."
