Harvesting Two Treasures
Jiang Hao walked toward Baxia. As he drew closer, he saw many characters carved into the enormous turtle shell—ancient Chinese writing. Back then, Liu Zhenhan had no idea what they meant and could only count them: nine one, three seven, two four **, six eight **.
But these characters posed no challenge to Jiang Hao. They were Ancient Seal Script: "Nine on the head, one beneath the feet; three to the left, seven to the right; two and four as shoulders, six and eight as feet; five at the center." It was the Houtian Bagua Diagram.
Then he noticed a pale eggshell protruding from beneath Baxia's rear. It looked like Baxia was laying an egg, but she was so weak that she seemed unable to deliver it.
Moving around in front of Baxia, Jiang Hao saw a head as large as a winnowing basket, its dragon horns unmistakable. Sensing Jiang Hao's approach, Baxia slowly opened her eyes. Yet she only managed to open them halfway. Her gaze was dim and lifeless; from that alone, Jiang Hao could tell she was at the end of her strength.
He placed a hand on Baxia's head and used Animal Communication Ability, instantly establishing a mental link with her. At that moment, a little life seemed to return to Baxia's eyes as well.
"Is there anything I can do to help you?" Jiang Hao quickly asked.
Baxia laboriously blinked halfway and replied through their mental link, "I finally get to see you. You may be wondering why you came to this world. I can tell you—it was I who brought you here. But after I tore through space, a spatial turbulence suddenly appeared. I exhausted all my divine power just to withstand it.
"I do not belong to this world. This
