Jiang Hao and Doggie escorted the Scarlet Witch siblings onto the Quinjet and returned to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Helicarrier. When Director Fury saw that Jiang Hao had captured Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, a smile appeared on his face.
"Wade, well done!"
Those words sounded very familiar.
The siblings were taken away by the agents, both looking resentful and frustrated. Watching their backs, Jiang Hao did not tell them that, according to the movie's plot, Quicksilver would die in the end. By doing this, he had indirectly saved Quicksilver's life.
The siblings were quite capable and had not done anything terribly wrong. They had merely followed the wrong person. They would both join the Avengers in the future, so this was only a minor interlude.
"Director Fury, how are the others doing?" Jiang Hao asked.
"The fighting is intense. I never expected Ultron to assemble an army of several thousand robots in such a short time. Iron Man is fighting Ultron right now, and he's under immense pressure," Director Fury said.
The two had only exchanged a few words when a rumbling sound of the earth splitting suddenly came from afar. Jiang Hao and the others turned to look and saw the entire city slowly rising into the sky. The sight stunned everyone aboard the ship.
"My God, he built an engine capable of pushing an entire city. How did he do that?" Director Fury exclaimed.
Jiang Hao knew that the final scene from the movie had arrived. Ultron was preparing to destroy the world by lifting the city into the sky and then dropping it, using the impact of an asteroid striking Earth to create a catastrophe. He had calculated that it could wipe out eighty percent of humanity.
