Chicken King and Duck King
Jiang Hao looked at the two young women and said, "I came specifically to see the Eagle King. Please inform him that someone from the City God Mansion wishes to see him on business."
Upon hearing the name City God, the two women exchanged a glance. The woman in green shot into the air, transformed into a kingfisher, and swiftly flew away. The woman in red remained behind, clearly intending to keep watch over the two of them.
Jiang Hao smiled, utterly unconcerned. Holding Hu Xinyue's hand, he walked to the lakeshore and admired the scenery. Distant mountains were lush with trees, clouds and rosy mist drifted through the air, and crisp birdsong occasionally carried over.
The great lake was calm and unruffled. Waterfowl, ducks, and mandarin ducks played about in leisure and comfort. It truly deserved to be called a paradise for birds.
The woman in red followed more than ten meters behind them, staring at their backs. As Jiang Hao walked, he suddenly turned around and asked the girl in red, "What's your name?"
