Teasing Catwoman
Before long, several police cars arrived and arrested the criminals involved in the drug deal. Then someone pointed at a figure atop the overpass and shouted, "Look, isn't that Batman?!"
Jiang Hao did not leave. He waited for the police to arrive, and only when he saw people noticing him did he give his cape a shake and fly away with a swish.
"It's Batman! Batman has appeared again!" someone said excitedly.
"Wasn't Batman Bruce Wayne? Didn't Bruce Wayne get locked up in prison?" someone asked in confusion.
"Who knows? Maybe Bruce Wayne was never Batman at all, or maybe there's more than one Batman."
Several vehicles suddenly pulled up outside National City Bank. Their doors opened, and a group of masked armed men rushed into the bank. There were no fewer than twenty or thirty of them. Robberies on this scale were rare.
The bank immediately descended into chaos. People dropped to the floor while the robbers looted the counters and forced the manager to open the vault. The City Bank vault held over 20 million US Dollars in cash, and the robbers desperately stuffed money into their backpacks.
The police arrived soon after, but the robbers had come prepared. They fired submachine guns at the outside, and one of them even brought out a heavy machine gun. After a burst of tearing gunfire, police officers were knocked down and police cars exploded, plunging the scene into chaos.
"Woohoo!"
The robbers erupted in cheers.
The police who continued arriving no longer dared approach the bank. They could only surround it from a distance and wait for reinforcements, while the robbers had already finished packing the money and were preparing to leave.
