Fa Hai rose and left Golden Mountain Temple, flying all the way to the mountains outside Hangzhou City where he had captured the Spider Demon. He saw that pavilion.
Standing beside the pavilion, Fa Hai pressed his palms together.
"Good and evil both have their causes. Spider, I destroyed two hundred years of your cultivation that day. Today, I am trapped by demonic obstacles. It can be considered retribution. I will release you now, in hopes that we may both find liberation."
He reached out and lifted the ten-thousand-pound pavilion, only to freeze.
