The next day, Jiang Hao and Lara met up at the airport.
Jiang Hao looked Lara over from head to toe. She wore outdoor sneakers, khaki cargo pants, and a light-gray fitted tank top stretched taut across her chest. Her chestnut hair was tied into a ponytail, making her look exceptionally crisp and capable.
Her pale blue eyes were beautiful, and her lips were sensual. Lara gave Jiang Hao a slight smile. "I'm ready."
Jiang Hao glanced at the large bag by her feet. "Okay, then let's get ready to board."
They flew directly from London to Osaka. After arriving in Osaka, they took the Shinkansen and finally reached Kagoshima, Japan's southernmost prefecture, after dark.
They checked into a Japanese-style inn by the sea in Kagoshima. During dinner, Jiang Hao ordered quite a few Japanese specialties. After listening to Jiang Hao speak fluent Japanese and waiting for the server to leave, Lara said, "Jon, I only know a little Japanese, but yours is amazing. You're Chinese, so you must speak Chinese too, right?"
"If you want to learn, I can teach you," Jiang Hao said.
"That would be wonderful. I know English, French, Swedish, Italian, Spanish, and a little Japanese. If there's anything you want to learn, we can trade," Lara said with a smile.
The woman before him was unquestionably a high-IQ talent. Her intelligence was outstanding, and so was her physical ability. Otherwise, she would never have become such a superheroine-like figure.
