Jiang Hao withdrew from the camp. No one stopped him as he left, and he swaggered right out again. On the way back, Jiang Hao pulled a large camouflage backpack from his storage space. It contained plenty of food—some taken from the mercenary camp, some brought by Jiang Hao himself.
"Seeing so much good food, Lara will probably be thrilled," Jiang Hao muttered with a smile.
He carried the backpack back, but when he was still over a hundred meters from where Lara was hiding, Jiang Hao heard several cries of pain from a woman. His heart skipped a beat; he immediately recognized Lara's voice.
