"Ding~~~"
Jiang Hao was eating when an endless string of dings rang in his ears. Suddenly, he found the sound wonderfully pleasing, so he closed his eyes and savored it.
So full. He was truly full.
"Sir, are you all right?" A waiter saw Jiang Hao slightly raise his head, eyes closed, both hands seeming to gently grasp at something in midair. Unsure what the guest was doing, he hurried over to ask.
Jiang Hao opened his eyes with a contented smile. "Today's lamb chops were absolutely fantastic. I want to leave the chef a tip."
"Certainly, I'll get the chef right away," the waiter said quickly.
For a chef, there was no greater praise than seeing someone finish every dish he had made.
Of course, there was an even better form of praise: tipping them directly. No one disliked money. Before long, the head chef arrived with his assistant. He was clearly Arab. "Sir, were you satisfied with today's meal?"
"Yes, very satisfied. Especially these lamb chops. I finished the entire huge serving." Jiang Hao pointed at the bones on his plate.
The chef nodded with a smile. "May God bless you with a good appetite."
"How many people are there in your kitchen?" Jiang Hao asked.
"Seventeen in total." The chef and his assistant's eyes lit up. Was everyone getting a reward?
Jiang Hao took a thick wad of US Dollars from his pocket, all hundred-dollar bills. He pulled one out and handed it to the waiter. "This is your tip. I was very satisfied with your service."
The waiter accepted the tip with a beaming smile, thanking him repeatedly.
