Ch. 641A Single Battle Decides the Realm
Pang Xiong’s allied forces destroyed Gu Bile’s Xiongnu army at Tianshan Gorge, while Jiang Hao gathered the Western Region kingdoms and prepared to face the Right Virtuous King. The two armies met on an open plain, and Jiang Hao ordered the attack as battle began.

- Jiang Hao sent personal letters to the rulers of Qiuci, Yanqi, Yuli, and Shan Kingdom to request troops, and sent an envoy to Cheshi to persuade its king to block the Xiongnu’s retreat.
