Masahiko and Hashirama's group saw off the Second Tsuchikage Mu and his disciple Ōnoki, then prepared to return home and continue writing the third book.
"Why does it feel like I forgot something?" Only after returning home did Masahiko realize he seemed to have forgotten something.
"In my memories, Mu and Ōnoki went to visit Madara next. Their alliance proposal was rejected, and they got beaten up..." Masahiko muttered. Just as he was about to go take a look, he sat back down.
"Nothing will happen anyway. The book is more important. It feels like Madara won't be staying in Konoha much longer..."
Before long, Masahiko indeed sensed intense Chakra fluctuations, but he did not pay much attention. Madara was probably just teaching the Second Tsuchikage and his disciple a lesson. Yet less than two minutes later, Masahiko abruptly shot to his feet.
"Perfect Susanoo? Has Madara gone mad? Is he trying to kill them?" Masahiko could no longer remain calm. He hurriedly flew toward the battlefield.
Fortunately, the battle was taking place at the entrance to the Uchiha compound. Madara could not unleash his full strength there. Otherwise, by the time Masahiko arrived, he would probably have been collecting the two Tsuchikage's corpses...
Even so, by the time he arrived, the Second Tsuchikage was already injured, while Ōnoki was sprawled on the ground, shouting, "Why are you doing this? Lord Hashirama has already..."
Madara ignored him and was about to continue attacking when Masahiko hurriedly shouted, "Madara, stop!"
Madara really did stop. Masahiko thought he had finally decided to give him some face, only for the Susanoo giant to swing its blade at him in reverse.
Masahiko narrowly dodged. Just as he was about to curse him out, Hashirama and Tobirama rushed over as well. Hashirama shouted, "Madara, stop!"
