While alive, life could embody all kinds of value—some good, some evil. But before transcending the constraints of the rules, no matter what kind of life it was, it would ultimately face death. Death would not change because of one's status.

Mortals would die, gods would die, Supreme Kais would die, and even powerful Gods of Destruction would perish. Only before death did all life display a relative equality.

But as a God of Destruction, Chaya had the authority to make any life die ahead of time without incurring any karmic judgment.

The moment Chaya extended his palm toward him, the dark archmage Dadas's death sentence was officially pronounced.

When the faint purple God of Destruction energy appeared before him, dazzling as brilliant stars, a chill rose from the soles of Dadas's feet. He no longer had even the slightest ability to resist.

"Erasure!" Chaya said coldly as the dazzling energy in his palm surged forth.

"Ah... no!!"

Dadas's face turned deathly pale. He struggled, only to discover in horror that his body was gradually turning to dust. He had no ability to resist at all. Soon, amid miserable screams, Dadas's body became ashes, and even his soul was burned away by the God of Destruction energy.

"The chief culprit has been eliminated." Chaya withdrew his hands and clasped them behind his back, speaking indifferently.

"Lord Chaya, many people escaped just now," Kusu reminded him from beside him.

"Don't worry. They won't get away." Chaya spoke calmly. He and Kusu walked out of Dadas's castle and looked into the distance from a high vantage point. Many wealthy merchants who had received word were already fleeing Sandmist Planet. Outside, the rain fell endlessly and crowds surged about. Even the air throughout this sinful planet was thick with the smell of blood.
