First Timeline, Trunks's world.

A howling gale swept through the city streets and alleys, making a shrill moaning sound like an infant's cry or a sorrowful murmur. It accompanied the ruined city with a faint, chilling coolness.

When Chaya arrived here with Son Goku and the others, all they saw was a vast, desolate scene of devastation. Broken walls and collapsed buildings lay everywhere, ravines crisscrossed the ground, and shell craters of every size covered the area. The largest was nearly a thousand meters wide, occupying a huge portion of their view. Wisps of black smoke rose in the distance, while the air carried a pungent sulfurous stench.

The remaining halves of towering buildings vaguely revealed the city's former prosperity, but they had now become ruins.

"This is West City on Earth in the First Timeline. It was rebuilt many times during the early battles against Majin Buu, but now it has become ruins again." Chronoa's eyes rolled as she recounted West City's past.

Chaya nodded, then calmed himself and sensed the Ki around them. Before long, his brows furrowed. Within his range of perception, aside from a few scattered groups of life gathered together in settlements, there were barely any traces of life left on Earth.

"This Zamasu is ruthless. Humanity on Earth is nearly wiped out."

When he had first met Zamasu, Chaya had seen some signs of his twisted nature, but he had never expected him to do something so extreme one day. Even if the Zamasus of the two timelines differed somewhat, the difference could not have been that great. It was truly lamentable.

Son Goku's face darkened. His calm heart was already filled with rage. He surveyed the deathly silent surroundings, then turned and asked, "Can any of you sense Zamasu's Ki?"

"No, we can't
