Chapter Summaries

After the King of Time left, Chaya and the other gods returned to their universes and adjusted to the merged cosmos. Chaya welcomed Universe 3’s Supreme Kai and God of Destruction into the new Universe 1 and began organizing their partnership.

• Grand Zeno emerged from hiding after the King of Time departed, then returned to Zeno's World with the Grand Minister.
• Chaya and the former Universe 7 group left the World of Void, while the other universes’ gods departed and Jiren asked Chaya to fight him someday.
• Kusu brought Chaya and his companions to the former Universe 10, now Universe 1, where Chaya sensed that galaxies and sacred realms from two universes had merged.
• Chaya met Supreme Kai El, Mosco, and Campari, welcomed El as a Supreme Kai of Universe 1, and asked Mosco to serve as its prospective God of Destruction.
• Chaya sent the contestants back to their planets and showed Mosco the Sacred Planet where he could live.

Chaya and the others wondered why the King of Time seemed to favor Android 18, then checked on the fused universes after the Tournament of Power. The group arrived in Universe 5, where Mephia showed Beerus and Champa a cat that resembled them.

• Chaya, Myers, and Selyne speculated that the King of Time's special attention to Android 18 might mean they were connected, but Android 18 dismissed the idea.

• Beerus arrived and threatened Mephia after she showed him a Cornish Rex cat that resembled him, but he spared her because she was Chaya’s daughter.

Chaya spent two years cultivating while keeping watch for Spirit King's Palace, then learned that Silica was pregnant with Vichy's child and arranged their wedding on Red Mountain Star. At the wedding, he welcomed the guests and spoke with Son Goku about Son Pan entering the 31st World Martial Arts Tournament.

• Chaya agreed with Whis and Vados to keep watch for Spirit King's Palace while focusing on his cultivation and the dark golden energy within him.

• Son Pan defeated her opponents and won the junior division championship.
• Vegeta prepared to leave, but black clouds gathered and a time-space passage opened above the tournament.
• Chaya recognized temporal-spatial fluctuations in the passage, and two spacecraft flew out toward the continent.
• Chaya, Selyne, Vegeta, and the others flew to the crash site to investigate.
• Two people in Frieza-era battle uniforms climbed out of the spacecraft, shocking Chaya and the others and darkening Vegeta's expression.

Bida and Nappa arrived on Earth from a fragment of space-time, dismissed its unexpectedly high power readings, and planned to find the Dragon Balls and kill the Earthlings. Vegeta confronted Bida, who mistook him for an impersonator, and Vegeta’s anger erupted.

• Bida and Nappa discovered they had reached Earth far earlier than expected and could not contact Frieza’s headquarters.
• Nappa’s Scouter detected Earthlings with power levels as high as 3500, but Bida decided the readings were faulty.
• Nappa blasted their spacecraft free of the rubble, and the Saiyans set out to search for the Dragon Balls.
• Chaya recognized Bida and Nappa as warriors from a Fragment World, while the others discussed the danger they posed.
• Vegeta blocked Bida and Nappa’s path, and Bida accused him of impersonating the prince.
• Vegeta’s anger surged, releasing an oppressive chill into the air.

Vegeta defeated and killed Bida and Nappa, who had arrived from another world and mistaken him for an impostor. After clearing away their bodies, he asked Chaya why spacetime passages from other worlds had appeared on Earth.

• Bida ordered Nappa to scan Vegeta, and Nappa reported a battle power of 2,740.
• Bida attacked Vegeta, but Vegeta appeared in front of him and killed him with one punch.

Chaya and Kaiyin investigated the unnatural spacetime passage over Earth and discovered that a Fragment World was colliding with Universe 5. Kaiyin revealed that several hundred other Fragment Worlds were also on course to collide with the universe, including one as large as the Milky Way.

• Chaya explained that the passage over the tournament venue could not have formed naturally, and Selyne warned that other passages might exist elsewhere in the universe.
• Chaya contacted Chronoa Kaiyin, who arrived on Earth with her apprentice Eve and examined the passage at the tournament island.
• Kaiyin found that the passage was shrinking unusually slowly, and Eve noted that it had remained open far longer than a passage created by her had.
• Kaiyin concluded that a Fragment World was piercing the cosmic barrier and colliding with Universe 5, putting the Milky Way at risk.
• Kaiyin revealed that several hundred Fragment Worlds were colliding with Universe 5, including some large enough to destroy vast regions of starfields.

Chaya and Kaiyin rallied the gods and fighters of Universe 5 to repel hundreds of approaching Fragment Worlds and handle the aliens emerging from them. Meanwhile, Captain Ginyu arrived near the Milky Way in King Cold’s body, still wondering why Frieza had ignored his rise to power.

• Kaiyin said hundreds of Fragment Worlds were approaching, so Chaya contacted the other universes’ Time Supreme Kais, Time Gods, and Angels for help.
• Chaya assigned Son Goku, Vegeta, Selyne, and Universe 5’s fighters to defend against aliens while he, Kaiyin, and Eve went into the Sea of Space-Time.

• Jeice reported that Captain Ginyu's ship had arrived near the center of the Milky Way, and Ginyu concluded they had passed through a wormhole.
• Recoome urged Ginyu to ignore Jeice's concerns, and Ginyu ordered the ship to set course for the Galactic Patrol.
• Chaya, Kaiyin, and Eve welcomed thirty or forty Chronoas and Time Gods who had arrived to help contain the Fragment Worlds.
• The Chronoas and Time Gods divided up the work and used their Books of Time and Space to halt the falling fragments.
• Olishia introduced herself to Chaya, and they worked together to push smaller Fragment Worlds away with a net of time-space chains.

Chaya, Kaiyin, Olishia, and the Time Gods restored smaller Fragment Worlds but discovered a mysterious black sphere drawing the remaining fragments toward Universe 5. As alien incursions spread across the universe and King Cold’s spacecraft approached Galactic Patrol Headquarters, Lysis was introduced at a nearby outpost.

• Chaya, Kaiyin, Olishia, and the Time Gods restored several small Fragment Worlds and struggled to move the five largest ones.
• The Chronoas discovered a perfectly round black sphere that resisted their powers and pulled Fragment Worlds toward Universe 5, so they left it for the Angels to handle.
• Whis and Vados directed Beerus and Champa to new wormhole locations as alien creatures appeared throughout Universe 5.
• The Galactic Patrol detected King Cold’s spacecraft near its headquarters, and the Galactic King ordered Jaco to contact Lysis for help.

The Grand Minister fought a powerful cyan phantom whose battle shook Universe 5, while Chaya and the Angels clashed with five Dark Angels near the Spirit King's Palace. The palace suddenly appeared between the groups and swallowed one of the Dark Angels, leaving the battle’s outcome uncertain.

• The Grand Minister and the cyan phantom fought at fifth-level God Realm power, devastating a star system and sending shock waves across Universe 5.
• Chaya, the Angels, and others felt the battle’s effects, while Whis urged Chaya to retreat from the fight.
• Five Dark Angels arrived, and Chaya and ten Angels attacked them, outnumbering and overpowering them.
