Kernunnos, meaning "the Horned One," was distinguished by the pair of stag antlers on his head. Thus, he was also known as the Horned God, and often appeared alongside beasts such as snakes, deer, wolves, and bears.

This deity had been born from the power of the Celtic homeland and the Druids' faith in nature. Gentle by nature, he was the supreme object of worship for the Druidic Order and Wicca, symbolizing forces such as nature, the sun, masculinity, fertility, harvest, death, and rebirth.

In theory, he held dominion over hunting, childbirth, animals, plants, the wilderness, and the authority to rule the underworld in Britain.

Because the Druids revered nature and followed harmony between humanity and the natural world, Kernunnos, born from those beliefs, looked adorably harmless and approachable at a glance, seemingly devoid of any threat.

And a local deity limited to such a small region naturally could not contend with ancient divine systems of far-reaching influence, supported by vast numbers of believers and territories, such as those of Greece, Mesopotamia, India, Egypt, Persia, and the Norse.

But as a genuine high god of the Druidic Order, he unquestionably possessed considerable strength. He simply disliked fighting.

Speaking of which, Boudica had indeed gone to great lengths to invite this guardian of Britain into action.

Fortunately, she had become the Celtic Queen and was qualified to represent the Celts in making a plea to their guardian god.

Coupled with Horned God Kernunnos's innate affection and affinity for life in his homeland, he ultimately agreed to leave the forest with Boudica for the future of Britain, aiding the Roman Empire against the Persians.

Of course, friendship was friendship; binding interests were indispensable.
