Initially rude, pampered, and unwilling to cultivate seriously, she agreed to train largely because Ning Tian wanted her to do so 5. Ning Wuque later pushed her through an extreme endurance test, then designed a gradual, individualized regimen for her; the experience forced her to develop the willpower and physical foundation needed for stronger soul rings 28 29.
