Meditation Spiritual Training Method

Krillin leaped into the air and flew toward the Sacred Temple, twice as fast as when he had come. Training on the path of the Martial Way was not as simple as 1+1=2; a breakthrough often produced results greater than 1+1.

On his way back, Krillin pondered how to use energy, making sure every bit was spent where it mattered most. He still had 2,800 Senzu Beans, equivalent to 1.4 million energy. After the system upgrade, 100 points of Super Speed Training earned 100 Battle Power per day, while Light Speed Training earned 500 Battle Power per day, but greatly increased comprehension.

Thinking back on how arduous his own path to becoming Kami had been, climbing step by step to this position, even splitting himself in two...

Krillin noticed something off about the way Kami was looking at him. Kami's eyes were full of questions. Could Kami have noticed something?

"Obviously. Anyone whose dimension is higher than yours can see it!" the system said speechlessly.

Krillin gave Kami an awkward smile and scratched his head.

Kami could not make sense of it, but he did not ask further, and Krillin did not explain. After all, this was a secret. Who knew whether some melodramatic scenario of an innocent man suffering for possessing a treasure might happen? It was not that he feared Kami; he was simply afraid some big shot might be watching him. Hahaha, he had gone off track, but he still could not reveal this.

"Kami, I want to learn the Meditation Training Method!" Krillin said to Kami with a broad, toothy grin.

"No problem. Korin can teach you. Most of my Martial Way was taught by Korin as well," Kami said calmly.

"Then I'll have to trouble you, Mr. Korin."

"It is no trouble. Korin also wishes to spread his Martial Way and benefit people."

"Mr. Korin, I want to train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Is that possible?"

The Hyperbolic Time Chamber had thin air and stifling heat. Its temperature ranged between fifty degrees Celsius and minus forty degrees Celsius, while its gravity was ten times normal. It had a space as vast as Earth itself. Those with weak willpower or poor concentration could easily suffer hallucinations. To Krillin, though, those were minor matters.

Korin glanced at Kami, seemingly asking for his opinion.

Kami nodded without hesitation.

"Very well. From now on, Korin will teach you the Meditation Training Method. Please follow Korin," Korin said to Krillin.

"I'm coming. Thank you, Korin."

Korin led the way. The Sacred Temple was indeed quite large. As they went deeper, the paths became tangled and crisscrossed, with sections like winding mountain roads. Krillin only knew to keep following him. To be honest, he had already lost all sense of direction. After walking for roughly another two minutes, he saw the golden gate.

Korin pushed open the door, then turned around and said, "This is the place."

They had finally arrived. Krillin walked in and curiously surveyed the surroundings. Aside from places to sleep and eat, everything else was an endless expanse of white. It was somewhat stuffy and hot, but that was exactly the kind of environment he needed. Only by enduring the bitterest hardships could one become a big shot!

"Now Korin will begin teaching you the Meditation Training Method," Korin said to Krillin.

System, activate Light Speed Training. Automatically renew it for one year; if there is not enough, deduct Senzu Beans. Ding, received.

"First, you need to sense your Spiritual Power. Close your eyes and fully feel your brain until you can sense every part of it. Then imagine that energy is gathering in your mind, converging from every part of your brain toward its core. If you feel swelling at the center of your brain, the first step has succeeded. Close your eyes and imagine yourself looking at the objects before you. Do not imagine seeing with your eyes. Instead, imagine your brain receiving information from ahead. You must have a strong desire to see. If your brain feels as though it is boiling, swelling, or under pressure, and that sensation can flow and compress, that is the Spiritual Power in your brain," Korin explained seriously.

After hearing Korin's words, Krillin felt a faint realization. He immediately sat down cross-legged. A spark of insight flashed through his mind, but he could never quite grasp it.

Krillin tried several times but still failed. Smiling, he said, "This really is a little difficult."

Korin smiled. "Xiaolin, don't rush. Goku spent a full week learning it back then, and Korin already thought that was extremely fast."

Krillin was not actually in a hurry. You could not become fat in one bite. He had already caught a hint of inspiration, so what did he have to fear? The reason he was so confident was that he had activated Light Speed Training, which had vastly enhanced his aptitude and comprehension.

Krillin pondered why he was always just short of succeeding. Rubbing his bald head, he fell into deep thought.

Time passed like fine sand. Five days went by.

Krillin had sat there unmoving for an entire day. Every time, the sensation seemed to vanish in an instant. What exactly was he missing? The Mental Network was attached to the cerebral cortex... right! Hahaha, expansion, compression, and movement were its traits. He had kept trying to control it, instead of letting it move and expand.

Krillin tried again. With his eyes tightly shut, he imagined the Mental Network moving and expanding, slowly spreading until it gradually covered his entire mind. His brain slowly began to boil.

Hahaha! Krillin abruptly opened his eyes. He had succeeded in cultivating his Spiritual Power. Next, he only needed to keep simulating and strengthening it within his mind. I really am a little genius! Krillin could not help praising himself.

Korin was also startled. Goku had taken seven days to succeed, and those seven days had already amazed Korin beyond measure. Yet Krillin had succeeded in only five days. Throughout history, Earth had produced countless outstanding martial artists, but in terms of talent alone, perhaps none could compare to Krillin.
