Background / History

Goku grew up on Earth under Grandpa Gohan’s care and trained from childhood in martial arts. He retains a deep emotional bond with his adoptive grandfather, who returns briefly from the afterlife to see him. 6

Before the Saiyan conflict, Goku marries Chi-Chi and becomes the father of Gohan. Though he is initially absorbed in training and sometimes neglectful of domestic responsibilities, he supports Gohan’s wish to train and begins taking a more active role in his son’s upbringing. 6 110 111
