Mount Paozu was usually deserted, with fierce beasts roaming the mountains. But because of Goku's wedding, it had become a little livelier.
It was still morning, and the wedding had already been arranged. "Bulma, Yueping, why haven't Oolong and the others arrived yet?" Krillin asked anxiously.
Goku scratched his head. "But I didn't tell them!"
"Ah?" Krillin slapped his forehead. "I'm so stupid, really." It was just like Goku. Helplessly, if the Ox-King hadn't gone to Kame Island, Krillin probably wouldn't have known either. There was nothing he could do; that was just Goku's personality.
As time passed, it was time to begin.
"Master Mutian, please preside over Goku and Chi-Chi's wedding," the Ox-King pleaded loudly, prostrating himself on the ground.
Master Mutian smiled mysteriously. "Someone will naturally come, but the time has not yet arrived."
As soon as he finished speaking, a figure descended from the sky. He wore a Martial Arts Uniform and a melon cap, with a large white beard on his face and a golden halo above his head. He looked kindly at Goku.
"Grandpa! Grandpa!" Goku shouted as he rushed over and threw himself into Gohan's arms. Just as when he was young, he burst into tears. The power of family was incomparably strong; even a pure-hearted Saiyan like Goku could not escape it.
"Good boy, stop crying. Grandpa is very happy to see that you've grown into an adult today." Gohan looked at Goku kindly, his face full of warmth.
"Grandpa, didn't you come back once before? Isn't everyone only allowed to return once?" Goku asked in confusion.
Baba slowly floated down and spoke leisurely. "Originally, everyone could only return once. But Goku, you defeated King Piccolo and saved the world, greatly reducing King Yama's workload. My junior brother also told me in advance that you were getting married, so your grandfather and I discussed returning today. King Yama made a special exception and approved it."
As Goku's grandfather, Gohan was naturally the most qualified to preside over the ceremony.
As time passed, the wedding began. Goku wore a black suit with a white tie as he slowly walked toward everyone. Chi-Chi wore a pure white wedding dress, her hair flowing loose. She held tightly onto Goku's arm, a sweet smile blooming on her face.
The wedding proceeded smoothly... Amid a burst of noise and celebration, it came to an end.
"Goku, Chi-Chi is a good wife. You two must live well together and try to give Grandpa a big, chubby grandson soon," Gohan said with a hearty laugh.
Chi-Chi was still an innocent young girl, and her little face immediately turned red. She softly said, "Grandpa!"
"Goku, I have to leave."
Goku stretched out his hands as though he wanted to hug his grandfather, but he never did.
How could that gesture escape Gohan's eyes? Gohan stepped forward and embraced Goku. "Silly child, I know you can't bear to part with Grandpa. Grandpa will be watching you from the heavens. Grandpa has never left you."
"Mhm, mhm!" Goku nodded through his tears.
After a moment, Grandpa had to leave. He walked over to Master Mutian, bowed to him, and said, "Master Mutian, I'll have to trouble you to take care of Goku."
Master Mutian nodded without saying anything.
"Baba, let's go." In an instant, Gohan and Baba disappeared from everyone's sight.
The next day, Krillin said seriously, "Master Mutian, you can head back first. I want to go out and train. Staying on Kame Island for too long is always a little boring."
"Krillin, you little brat, don't run! Wherever there are beautiful women, I'll beat you to death!"
Krillin laughed. "Master Mutian, would you have come if I hadn't said that?"
Krillin stayed behind.
He had to take advantage of these next few days to raise his Battle Power properly. Krillin chuckled. "Sorry, Goku!"
"Goku, let's fight."
And so, Krillin and Goku sparred continuously for three days. When they were hungry, they went into the mountains to hunt. When they were thirsty, they drank spring water.
Krillin's strength improved every day.

Meanwhile, Goku's progress was somewhat less noticeable.

"Congratulations, Host, for safely passing the adaptation period. The method of obtaining energy has changed. The energy gained from ordinary prey has greatly diminished. You need to find higher-grade energy."
Krillin immediately panicked. Without energy, wouldn't I be knocked off my pedestal? "How can I obtain higher-grade energy?" Krillin asked urgently.
The system pondered for a moment before saying, "High-grade energy ores and precious medicinal herbs that have aged for many years can both work. However, given Earth's current state of development, high-grade energy is very scarce."
"Is there anything else?"
"As the miraculous healing medicine throughout Dragon Ball, a Senzu Bean can permanently add 500 energy for you no matter what realm you are in. Then there is the Spirit Fruit. It can restore vitality, which is equivalent to extending one's lifespan, and it can also permanently add 500 energy for you."
In fact, there were even higher-grade energies in the universe, such as Black Stone.
"What is Black Stone?" Krillin asked doubtfully.
"It is the source of the eternal power within No. 17 and No. 18. I knew you couldn't bear it, so I didn't mention it." The system chuckled.
"Don't bring that up again in the future." Krillin's face darkened.
The system muttered inwardly, Did I say they were from this timeline?
Once your strength reaches a certain level, you can extract the Star Core from planets for cultivation. It is still too early to tell you that.
Now that he knew his goal, things would be easier. At least he would no longer be a headless fly rushing around aimlessly. Moving toward a goal would get him twice the result with half the effort. The path of cultivation was long, like rowing against the current: if one did not advance, one would fall behind. Krillin kept reminding himself that he could not slack off. The consequences of slacking off were not something he could bear!
It was time to say goodbye to Goku. Training here no longer had much effect. After all, his Battle Power had already surpassed Goku's. The system's energy was only enough for him to train for another twenty days. Ordinary prey now provided very little energy. It was time to set out in search of energy. As long as he had enough energy, he could always maintain an efficient training state.
Krillin found Goku, who was training diligently.
"Goku, I'm leaving. I came to say goodbye." Goku merely nodded simply.
"Xiaolin, fight me again. You've gotten much stronger lately," Goku said, looking at Krillin expectantly.
Krillin shook his head and asked, "Goku, don't train for a while. Take Chi-Chi out and have some fun. After all, you just got married. This is called a honeymoon."
"A honeymoon?" What kind of delicious food is that? Goku asked with the expression of a foodie.
"Don't worry about whether there's anything delicious. Just take Chi-Chi out and have fun. You're not allowed to come back for a month!"
"But that will delay my training," Goku said with a conflicted expression.
"Goku, you need to understand that a woman's best years are only these few years. You have to learn to cherish them. Your youth lasts far longer than an Earthling's. Don't wait until later..." Krillin said seriously.
Goku looked utterly blank, clearly not understanding.
"Just listen to me!"
Hopefully Goku's blockhead would wise up sooner. Krillin smiled helplessly.
After saying goodbye to Goku, Krillin left. Just as I came quietly, I quietly departed, carrying only a box of Portable Capsules.
"Ha ha, an adventure with nothing but my bare hands!"
Before you continue
