Katsuo crushed the Old Clan Grounds’ plot against Tenmei, absorbed the Divine Tree’s power, and entered a breakthrough just as Madara revived the Ten-Tails. Konoha fought Madara until Katsuo’s Ten-Tails, Number Ten, joined the battle, where Madara absorbed the other beast and became the Sage of Six Paths.

• Katsuo stopped Shisui from using Kotoamatsukami on Tenmei, killed Shisui and Itachi, then forced the Old Clan Grounds to choose whether to join the New Clan Grounds.
• Katsuo killed those who refused to join, made Uchiha Osamu the new patriarch, and absorbed natural true fire and a Divine Tree root to advance his cultivation.
• During Katsuo’s seclusion, Black Zetsu revived Uchiha Madara, who used the Dragon Vein at Rōran to revive the Ten-Tails.
• The Star Spirit warned Katsuo of the Ten-Tails’ revival, and Yao and Konan alerted Konoha while Katsuo remained unable to interrupt his breakthrough.
• Minato led Konoha’s forces against Madara, while Obito controlled the Ten-Tails and Hashirama and Tobirama joined the battle.
• Madara’s Limbo Shadows overwhelmed Konoha’s fighters, and after three days without news, Katsuo’s cocoon cracked and Number Ten charged west toward the battlefield.
• Number Ten attacked Madara’s Ten-Tails and hurled it into his Susanoo, but Madara absorbed the beast and transformed into Sage of Six Paths Madara.
• Sage of Six Paths Madara blocked Number Ten’s Tailed Beast Bomb with a Truth-Seeking Orb shield and stopped its claw with his Sage Staff.

Katsuo ended Madara’s Infinite Tsukuyomi, prepared his family to face the Otsutsuki threat, and left the Shinobi World with Kaguya and Madara. Their journey brought them to the world of pirates, where Katsuo freed the women held aboard Urouge’s ship and urged Madara to follow his whims.

• Minato became the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki as Madara battled the returned shinobi, while Gousheng emerged from hiding, learned of the Uchiha massacre, and reunited with Sasuke.
• Gousheng befriended Naruto and transferred into his class, while Madara cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi and Katsuo broke its effect before attacking him.
• Katsuo destroyed Black Zetsu, removed the Ten-Tails from Minato, and sent the Sage of Six Paths, Hashirama, and Tobirama to the Pure Land while sparing Madara.
• Katsuo harvested a Chakra Fruit, dispelled the Infinite Tsukuyomi, freed Kaguya, and explained the Otsutsuki threat to his family before leaving them behind.
• Four years later, Tenmei and Chōsei excelled in the Chunin Exams, and Katsuo entrusted Tenmei with authority over his family before departing with Kaguya and Madara.
• Katsuo taught Kaguya and Madara Fused Sage Mode as they traveled through space toward the Otsutsuki homeland, eventually recognizing a familiar ocean planet.

Katsuo and Madara seized control of the Marines, destroyed Mariejois, and ended the Celestial Dragons’ rule before imposing a new order. As Katsuo and Kaguya grew closer, the new government declared a ten-day ultimatum that left the Straw Hat Pirates facing a dangerous choice.

• Katsuo struck a Celestial Dragon on Sabaody, mastered Haki, and defeated the Marines who came to capture him.
• Katsuo and Madara overcame the Admirals and Garp, then forced the Marines to march on Mary Geoise and kill the Celestial Dragons.
• Madara devastated Mariejois with meteors and Susanoo while Katsuo and Kaguya confronted Imu and the World Government’s forces.
• The Marines killed the Celestial Dragons in their underground shelter, and Katsuo began organizing a new government and preparing a war against the Four Emperors.
• Katsuo and Kaguya shared an intimate encounter and agreed to try to have a daughter.
• The new World Government ended the Heavenly Tribute, offered pirates amnesty, and gave them ten days to reform.
• Nami read the news to the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy refused to give up piracy, and Robin warned that unreformed pirates would be slaughtered without trial.

Katsuo crushed the pirate alliance at Marineford, killed Whitebeard and Big Mom Linlin, and forced Shanks to submit after Ace’s execution. He then destroyed Kaido’s forces at Mariejois and began reorganizing the New World Government while studying Devil Fruits.

• Luffy and his crew joined Whitebeard’s rescue effort as the Marines prepared to draw the Four Emperors into battle, while Shanks and Big Mom Linlin sought alliances against them.
• Katsuo assembled the Marines and Warlords at Marineford, publicly executed pirates, and launched the battle against Whitebeard, Big Mom Linlin, and Shanks’s forces.
• Doflamingo trapped Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates in a Birdcage, and Akainu’s executioners beheaded Ace despite the pirates’ attempts to break through.
• Katsuo killed Kuma and Ben Beckman, defeated Whitebeard and Big Mom Linlin with his black dragon, and persuaded Shanks to pledge allegiance to the Marines.
