In a deserted, dim alley, Noah slipped out from a shadowy corner. He nervously glanced back over his shoulder to make sure no one was pursuing him, then wiped the cold sweat from his brow with a bitter expression.
"Was it going to be this chaotic the moment I arrived in this world? Wasn't this just making me relive some bad memories?"
Noah still remembered how, when he had first arrived in the world of the Godslayer, Doni had turned everything upside down not long after his arrival, throwing the whole area into chaos.
That experience could be called Noah's dark history. He did not even want to mention it.
What had happened today gave Noah the distinct feeling that he had just arrived in the Godslayer world all over again. The more he thought about it, the more irritating it was.
More importantly, this world seemed to have Deities as well.
Although they were certainly different from the Heretic Gods in the Godslayer world, there was no doubt that the Deities of this world could likewise move about in the human world.
"After all, they mentioned things like divine blessings. Whether these gods are gods in the truest sense or not, this world doesn't seem simple at all."
As a Godslayer, whenever Noah encountered a hostile god, his body would automatically fill with a sense of power.
He did not know whether the same reaction would occur when he encountered gods from other worlds.
The definition of gods differed more or less from world to world.
If beings called gods truly existed in different worlds, whether they were all the same was also highly questionable.
At the very least, Noah had yet to
