After watching the Blue Pegasus mages enter the villa, Noah was just about to take out Vimanas when he noticed Wendy standing silently to one side.
Noah's hand paused slightly. Looking at the silent Wendy, he crouched down, knelt on one knee before her, and spoke gently.
"What's wrong?"
Only then did Erza, Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Happy, and the others notice that something was off with Wendy.
"What's wrong?" Natsu asked cluelessly.
"Got a stomachache?"
Everyone present nearly fell over.
"N-No..." Wendy weakly protested, then looked at Noah with a pitiful expression, as though she wanted to say something but did not know how to begin.
Before Noah could react to Wendy's appearance, Charlulu casually interjected from the side.
"Why not just say what you're thinking? Haven't you been looking forward to this moment all along?"
"Charlulu..." Wendy turned to Charlulu and asked hesitantly in a quiet voice.
"You don't object?"
"What good would objecting do?" Charlulu turned her head away.
"You've been looking forward to this moment for seven years. If you don't say it properly now, you might never get another chance."
Hearing Charlulu's words, Wendy clenched one small hand before her chest, raised her eyes, and looked cautiously at Noah.
Noah did not rush her. He simply looked straight at Wendy, a gentle smile never leaving his face.
That smile slowly dispelled Wendy's fear, allowing her to gather her courage.
The next second, Wendy said this.
"Um... I want to..."
Seeing Wendy stammering like that, Charlulu became impatient instead.
"Honestly, is it really that hard to say?" Charlulu shot Noah a displeased glance.
"This child wants to go back to Fairy Tail with you."
