"Miss Aesc."
Mash tentatively called her name as she looked at Aesc, who had been staring at Uther's corpse without a trace of expression on her face. But Aesc showed no reaction and continued standing there in a daze.
"Mash, give up." Seeing that Aesc did not react, Mash prepared to rush out and stop the tragedy below, but Tettrot immediately stopped her.

The Black Knight Ector and Tettrot had been drawn to Aesc's ideals and had followed behind her all this time. But not everyone possessed Aesc's unwavering conviction. The long years and the Goblins' chaos had long made them give up on saving Britain's Goblins. Even if those Goblins were their kin, they might have given up two thousand years ago if not for Aesc.
Aesc had appeared in Britain in Fae Calendar 4000. By now, roughly 3,600 years had passed. Through great and small calamities, Aesc had saved the Goblins of Britain hundreds of times, yet nothing had changed in the slightest. Anyone else would have quit long ago. Even Castor would have been the same.
"Tettrot, take Mash and leave first." Looking at Londinium engulfed in flames,
