"Of course. If he weren't the Anemo Archon, he couldn't possibly know so much. Besides, you saw how he was with Dvalin earlier. If he weren't the Anemo Archon, how could he possibly be with Dvalin?" Shen Fei continued.
"That guy actually dared to lie to me! He's awful!" Paimon stomped on empty air again. An angry Paimon was quite cute, admittedly. Shen Fei was curious about what her true form was like. If he recorded Paimon like this and showed it to her once she recovered, what would she think? With that thought in mind, Shen Fei immediately decided to do just that.
"Since he's the Anemo Archon, why did he go steal the Skyward Lyre?" Paimon continued.
"He was probably trying to save Dvalin," Lumine said.
"Wait until tonight. I'll go with you." Venti had arranged with Lumine to act at night, when the Cathedral of Favonius would have far fewer guards.
"Venti, you actually dared to lie to us." At around nine that night, Shen Fei, Lumine, and Paimon arrived near the Cathedral of Favonius. Venti was already waiting there.
"When did I ever lie to you? Could this be the other Traveler?" Venti smiled and greeted Shen Fei.
"You're the Anemo Archon Barbatos. Why didn't you tell us?" Paimon directly exposed Venti's identity. As expected of her.
"I did tell you. You just didn't believe me." Even after his identity was revealed, Venti's expression did not change in the slightest.
"Huh?" Paimon immediately remembered that Venti really had said he was the Anemo Archon before. Venti had initially intended to borrow the Skyward Lyre from the Cathedral of Favonius. When that failed, he revealed his identity, only to be ignored by the nuns. Mondstadt truly deserved its reputation as the City of Freedom. Someone impersonating the
