"Thank goodness it's a Hunter, not a Tyrant." Watching the green monster emerge from the Iron Canister, Shen Fei couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

The Hunter, a type of B.O.W. developed by Umbrella Corporation, looked like an enlarged frog with sharp claws, extraordinary attack power, rapid movement speed, and tough skin—a decent B.O.W. overall.

Sending Hunters after them wasn't a bad idea from Umbrella's perspective, but unfortunately for them, they'd miscalculated this time. The Hunter was up against Rebecca, who had already killed plenty of Hunters back at the Training Facility and the Mansion.

Umbrella's poor judgment stemmed from their lack of intel on Rebecca's prior experience with B.O.W.s. That information was held by Wesker, and G-William knew some of it too. But one had betrayed them, and the other had mutated—neither was about to share intel with Umbrella.

Soon enough, the Hunter fell under the combined assault of Rebecca and Shen Fei. Even a Hunter couldn't withstand the power of a Barrett Sniper Rifle.

Hunters had never really played a major role in the Resident Evil series, especially against anyone wielding heavy firepower.

In truth, even a Tyrant couldn't hold up against overwhelming firepower. The only thing that made a Tyrant superior to a Hunter was its ability to wield weapons—modern weapons like Rocket Launchers and Gatling Guns. That was the Tyrant's true purpose as a B.O.W.

Ordinary people had limited stamina. Unless you were someone like Captain America, no one could handle a Gatling Gun solo. A Tyrant loaded down with a Gatling Gun and belts of ammunition was a force of destruction.

Umbrella's airdrop this time included six Hunters and four Tyrants. The Hunters killed a few survivors, but they were quickly taken down.

The Tyrants, however, inflicted heavy losses on the U.S. Military and Umbrella's Strike Team alike.

One Tyrant went rogue. Caught in a hail of gunfire from the Military, some stray bullet must have hit the wrong spot, and it started attacking everyone in sight.

"I wonder what'll come next. I'm going out to find some weapons. You stay here and guard this place." After taking down the Tyrant, Shen Fei fell silent for a moment before speaking to Rebecca.

"Be careful." Rebecca didn't want Shen Fei to take the risk—he was still underage—but given the situation and the strength he'd just shown, she knew this wasn't the time to hold him back.

"I'll be back soon." Zombies, Hunters, Zombie Dogs—with their current weapons, those were manageable. But if a Tyrant showed up, they'd be in real danger.

The best weapon against a Tyrant was a Rocket Launcher.

Hopping into the Milk Truck he'd driven earlier, Shen Fei headed for Raccoon City. When Jill left earlier, she'd taken the motorcycle Chris had left behind.

"Driving into Raccoon City during a biohazard outbreak at night—I must be crazy." Spotting a pileup of a dozen cars ahead, some still burning from the crash, Shen Fei had no choice but to stop.

America had plenty of land and cars. Kids Shen Fei's age sometimes owned their own vehicles—cars were cheap here.

Taking a few deep breaths, Shen Fei opened the door and started walking toward Raccoon City on foot.

Along the way, he did his best to avoid the scattered zombies. He wasn't entirely sure how zombies detected their targets, but based on what he'd read, smell and hearing were the two key factors. Firing a gun recklessly would only attract more of them.

"Never thought I'd be too scared to fight zombies in a game, only to end up fighting them in real life." Shen Fei muttered to himself as he walked, a bitter laugh escaping him.

Right now, every part of his body except his hands was wrapped up tight. He couldn't help but admire Ada Wong—running around Raccoon City in a sleeveless dress like that.

But this time, he was wrong. Games were just games; the outfits were for effect. In the real world, Ada Wong wasn't stupid enough to dress like that.

Just look at Jill—she was wearing the STARS combat uniform.

"Hope I find some weapons." Shen Fei was out looking for a Rocket Launcher. His target wasn't the Police Station. There might be one there, but it was also the most dangerous place. Umbrella's Laboratory was underneath it, and that place had more than just Hunters—it had Lickers too.

In a straight fight, Hunters were tougher. But when it came to ambushes, Lickers were far more dangerous, especially in an urban environment. The reason the Police Station's officers had been wiped out wasn't the zombies—it was the Lickers. And Shen Fei had no intention of fighting Lickers right now.

Venturing into Raccoon City for weapons was already pushing his limits. He was doing it for his own survival, and for Rebecca and the kids.

His goal in coming to Raccoon City was to find weapons airdropped by Umbrella or the U.S. Military.

Real combat didn't come with unlimited ammo. You could only carry so much. So how did you resupply? Airdrops.

The Tyrants needed resupply too. That was the logic driving Shen Fei into the city.

"All guns." He quickly found a Supply Crate. It was easy to spot—it was glowing in the dark.

Most of Raccoon City's power was out. In the pitch-black darkness, zombies had a huge advantage over humans. That was Umbrella's plan: destroy the power plant and let the zombies finish off the survivors. Luckily, the fires raging across the city provided enough light to see the streets.

"I need a Rocket Launcher." After restocking some ammo, Shen Fei kept searching for more Supply Crates.

Persistence paid off. He finally found a crate with a Rocket Launcher and three Rockets. Counting the one already loaded in the launcher, that made four.

"That should be enough." With the goods in hand, Shen Fei decided not to push his luck. He was curious about the Laboratory under the Police Station, and Sherry might be there, but he had no intention of going head-to-head with G-William.

That guy seemed immortal, capable of multiple transformations. If Raccoon City hadn't been hit with a Nuclear Weapon, he might still be alive.

Thankfully, Shen Fei's body had been strengthened by the T-Virus, giving him enough strength to carry the Rocket Launcher.

Boom.

Just as he was about to leave, a massive explosion rang out in the distance, followed by nonstop gunfire and then a roar that sounded like some kind of animal.

"What the hell is that? Did Umbrella even have something like this?" Using the distant flames for light, Shen Fei could just make out what it was.

A Zombie Dinosaur, three meters tall and about five meters long.

Umbrella's Strike Team and the Military's special forces seemed to have joined forces, attacking it together.

"Is this a Marvel crossover?" Thinking that, Shen Fei immediately started moving faster to get out of there.
