Background and History

Rongrong is Ning Fengzhi’s daughter and the cherished young miss of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. Sword Douluo Chen Xin and Bone Douluo Gu Rong are protective figures she calls “Grandpa Sword” and “Grandpa Bone.” When a Gale Demon Wolf King threatens her group, Ye Qiu shields them until her father and the two Douluo arrive 67 183 205.

She later enters Shrek Academy, where she openly identifies herself as the sect’s eldest young miss. She resists Dean Flender’s attempt to belittle her Martial Soul and potential. Recognizing Oscar’s talent as a food-type Spirit Master with Innate Full Soul Power, she recruits him for the sect; when she leaves Shrek, she gives him a token with which to report there 149 154 156 295.

Ye Qiu gives Rongrong the Aromatic Silk Beauty, which evolves her Martial Soul into the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda. The change lets her surpass the level-79 limit that had constrained her father and ancestors. On returning home, she reveals her new cultivation and Martial Soul, then publicly states that she intends to marry Ye Qiu. Ning Fengzhi approves, while Sword and Bone Douluo initially object out of concern for her future 201 206 208.

Rongrong subsequently expresses a desire to take on sect affairs and become a better Sect Master than her father. During the Sea God Island assessments, she receives a Top Tier Seven Trial; Seahorse Douluo says completing it would make her the successor to the island’s Great Enshrined 623 831.

Appearance

Rongrong has blue-green eyes and is seen dressed in green on a visit home. She sometimes wears light makeup, though Ye Qiu notes that she usually goes without it 110 122 205.

Personality

Rongrong’s “Little Demoness” reputation comes from her mischievousness and pride, but she grows more attentive to her responsibilities. She defends her support Martial Soul against Flender, recruits useful talent for the sect, and later asks to help govern it 68 154 156 623.

She is openly affectionate toward Ye Qiu and often jealous of his other partners. Even so, she forms close bonds with Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing, and wins over Grandma Tom through gifts and conversation. Her fierce loyalty can override her public composure: she curses Tang San in front of Pope’s Palace after he insults Ye Qiu 208 540 737.

Rongrong’s support-type Martial Soul evolves from the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda after she consumes the Aromatic Silk Beauty 201 208.

• First Spirit Ability — Strength Amplification: Provides a strength boost; her first two abilities together increase allies’ strength and speed by 30 percent during the Shrek entrance test 149 829.
• Second Spirit Ability — Agility Amplification: Increases allies’ speed 149 829.
• Third Spirit Ability — Soul Power Amplification: Supports allies’ Soul Power, including Ye Qiu’s during Liu Erlong’s absorption of a dangerous inner core 829 908.
• Inherited limit removed: The nine-tiered pagoda allows advancement beyond the seven-ring restriction of her family’s original Martial Soul 201 210.

Ring Fusion and team support

Rongrong uses the sect’s Ring Fusion inheritance to combine power released through multiple Spirit Rings and channel it into a team technique 555 626.

• Guides the flow of combined Soul Power in a Seven-in-One Fusion Skill; the technique helps Xiao Lan activate her Martial Soul Avatar and Blue Silver Domain 555.
• Channels the fusion through teammates during the Spirit Master Competition. Combining different Martial Soul attributes without Ring Fusion is described as dangerous to the recipient 626 758.

Distraction Method and Soul Power projectiles

Rongrong practices the sect’s Seven Apertures Exquisite Heart, a multitasking method used to release multiple support skills, and agrees to teach it to Ye Qiu with Ning Fengzhi’s permission 122.
