Then Li Yun saw exactly what he had expected: numerous black-robed invaders were slaughtering their way through the Dongfang Family, while its people, who had prepared in advance, fought back.
Both sides suffered heavy losses, with people dying every second, though most of the dead belonged to the Dongfang Family. After they died, blood-red threads could even be seen converging into the Grand Array Core overhead.
Without hesitation, Li Yun shifted his gaze to the Core Area, where he could clearly see a withered drop of black blood floating.
As an endless stream of the Dongfang Family's bloodline power poured into it, pale red lines began appearing across the black blood. Though it had yet to awaken fully, it was already showing faint signs of revival.
