Though they did not know exactly what had happened within, it appeared that no real fight had broken out.
Most importantly, all the saints and mighty figures had noticed Li Yun and Zhenwu.
Although neither of their cultivations was high, their investigations revealed that both possessed immense potential.
For a time, many mighty figures instinctively memorized Li Yun and Zhenwu's auras, thinking, Yuanshi personally brought these two along. This shows their standing in the eyes of the saints. They absolutely cannot be provoked, nor can we rashly do anything to them.
This was especially true for Jieyin and Zhunti atop Mount Sumeru.
Through their observations, they too sensed Zhenwu's immense potential, and they found Li Yun's circumstances even more unusual.
The former was acceptable. Though his potential was immense, it remained within the range they could accept. At his core, he was merely somewhat more outstanding than ordinary disciples.
But the latter seemed to be shrouded in some mist that obstructed their investigation. Even the saints' calculations had lost their effect on him.
"Senior Brother, the disciple beside Yuanshi is no simple matter!"
After a brief silence, Zhunti quietly said, "That young man in black should be from the Black Tortoise Lineage. Judging by this, he has likely already joined the Chan Teachings. The aura Yuanshi Tianzun unleashed earlier was likely because of him."
"But the young man beside him is equally unusual. I cannot investigate him at all. I even sense that some special power is protecting him. When I attempt calculations, I encounter tremendous resistance, and it even gives me an extremely dangerous feeling!"
Hearing this, Jieyin nodded as well.
He
