Because of the absolute dominance of professionals, ordinary human nations in this world were always extraordinarily stable and long-lasting. This was especially true for "empires" with a Legendary professional standing guard. So long as the Legendary who stayed aloof from worldly affairs did not fall, any wars the nation experienced were destined to be nothing more than trivial squabbles. Destroying a nation or inciting reform was simply impossible. The Hatak Imperial Nation under "Whisper of Destruction" was one such example.
After enduring the trials of more than a hundred thousand years, Hatak could now certainly be called an "ancient nation." Yet its ancient history had brought little change to this small country, which had practiced slavery from beginning to end.
