For a mage of Punk's level, building a residence on flat ground was no difficult task. First, he used the spell Flatten Ground to erase the uneven terrain, then stimulated plants to grow into the framework of a house. A wooden frame strengthened with toughness enchantments was absolutely harder and more resilient than steel reinforcement bars.
Next, he used Mage Hand to smear large amounts of mud onto the walls, then cast Stone Transformation. The soft mud walls became sturdy stone walls.
But that alone only made this tower, just over six meters tall, an ordinary high tower. In Faerûn, stone towers over five meters tall could be called high towers, even though five meters was not truly very high. It was more than sufficient as a residence, but if it was to serve as an experimental base with some defensive capability, several more steps were needed.
Punk held a small yellow gemstone. More than ninety percent of gemstones in the Multiverse possessed an affinity for a corresponding element, because their formation involved elements of different attributes. Thus, even with the gemstone as casting material, the elemental Punk summoned was somewhat deformed. It looked a little like Popeye from an Earth cartoon, with an overly huge upper body and stunted, tiny lower limbs. Its bizarre appearance and wobbling gait were almost laughable.
