Punk currently had one and only one trump card: the "Abjuration Legendary Spell—Collapse Singularity," which he had painstakingly learned and practiced to proficiency.

This was a perfectly conventional high-damage Legendary Magic. When it came to destruction, the power of the Destruction Law was unquestionably among the finest of all laws. Combined with Aimoda's already deranged mental state, as long as this Collapse Singularity struck its target, the previously arrogant Legendary Red Dragon would be severely wounded on the spot even if it did not die!

However... whether its damage was sufficient was one matter; whether such a powerful attack could hit the enemy was another. And whether the caster could ensure his own safety while attacking the enemy was an even more crucial consideration.

A trump card could not simply be thrown out at some self-proclaimed "opportunity." How would he deal with the enemy's countermeasures? How would he ensure he did not expose too great a weakness? Even if his killing move failed, how should the battle proceed afterward? All of these required careful thought and planning.

Fools who relied on the vast mana reserves and rapid recovery of the Legendary tier and truly treated themselves like artillery batteries would not live long.

One had to understand that in truly high-intensity combat, every casting of Legendary Magic could be called a rigorous gamble. Even Legendary Magic one had already mastered proficiently consumed an enormous amount of mana, while the energy and time required were equally not to be underestimated.

Even with Punk's mana reserves, which far exceeded those of an ordinary Level Twenty-Two Legendary spellcaster, casting one Collapse Singularity with relatively average mana consumption would drain a full quarter of his mana at once.

Perhaps without a powerful enemy present, this little bit of consumption from Legendary Magic was nothing.
